With sketches, 3D models, and precise technical drawings, I resolve the questions that determine whether a home truly works: how rooms connect, how light moves through a space, how proportion and details shape the way it feel. Rendered models bring each space to life throughout the process, giving you a clear picture of the home taking shape, long before it’s built.

About Me
David Wrensen
Principal, DRW Architecture
While earning my Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2008, I spent summers working with a custom residential architecture firm in Bend, Oregon.
Upon moving to Denver, I spent 12 years with a large and mid-size firm, contributing to a wide variety of project types while working toward licensure. Communicating and coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors on complex projects honed my understanding of how buildings come together. Building detailed digital models and producing clear construction documents provided a great foundation and understanding of what goes into a successful project. My experience has been refined by lots of time on-sites, learning and problem solving through each phase of construction.
Returning to residential work, I lead the architecture and design of a start-up developing rapid off-site framing systems for homes and ADU’s. As that system was refined and grew, I had an opportunity to refocus on my passion for custom residential projects and decided to launch DRW Architecture where I’ve been collaborating with repeat clients, and leading those who are taking their first steps toward their own custom home project.
